Here is a list of research and academic resources will help you in your social entrepreneurship research or practice. Thankfully, there is a growing movement among researchers and academics who are developing social entrepreneurship into a distinct discipline, containing its own unique body of knowledge and theoretical frameworks.
Case Place: A free resource of case studies on social entrepreneurship and other sustainable business topics for my faculty members. Although the abstracts of the case studies are free, you may have to pay to see the entire case study.
Center for Sustainable Enterprise: University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business The school uses this center to help business leaders to utilize the social and environmental conditions in a marketplace to create profitable and sustainable companies.

Kauffman Entrepreneurship Research Portal: Kansas City-based, Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, has created an excellent portal of research information about entrepreneurship. This website has some excellent articles and studies on entrepreneurship.
Social Entrepreneurship Collaborative: Havard University’s Hauser Center for Nonprofit Organizations has created university incubator for students looking to create their business dreams through social entrepreneurship.
Social Enterprise Reporter: This link provides listing of academic and research resources on social entrepreneurship.
Social Science Research Network: This research database provides abstracts on articles related to social entrepreneurship.
University Network for Social Entrepreneurship: This network in collaboration with the Social Science Research Network has compiled a database of working papers and abstracts concerning social entrepreneurship. This is an excellent resource for faculty members who want to network with other social entrepreneurship scholars.
The William Davidson Institute: A educational institute at the University of Michigan which dissimates research on social enteprise and other issues pertaining to emerging markets. The institute has excellent research reports and also convenes a Social Enterprise Speaker Series.
